Our entry-level GradShield Silver Plan is designed for homeowners who want reliable exterior protection without breaking the bank. Three preventative exterior visits per year cover the most common seasonal threats — our technicians remove wasp and hornet nests and clear spider webs from your home's exterior (up to 15 feet high).

Basic Care pests such as carpenter ants, centipedes, earwigs, outdoor spiders, and more are included with no charge for extra service calls in between. It's smart, simple prevention that pays for itself the first time a treatment stops a pest problem before it starts.

GradShield Gold delivers complete inside-and-out pest prevention for Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut homes. Building on everything Silver offers, the Gold Plan adds an interior service visit and extends coverage to all structures on your property. Your plan includes our Extended Care program — protecting against silverfish, cockroaches, stink bugs, pantry pests, and more — plus active treatment for mice and rats.

Exterior termite monitoring is included to catch structural threats early, before costly damage occurs. Gold is our most popular all-around plan for homeowners who want total peace of mind.

Are the GradShield treatments safe for my kids and pets?

Protecting your family and pets is an important part of how we approach every treatment. We use EPA-registered products and apply them according to label directions, using targeted applications and only the amount needed to effectively address the pest problem.

Depending on the treatment, we may ask you to keep children and pets away from treated areas for a period of time, such as until the application has completely dried. If you have young children, pets, or any specific concerns, just let us know. We’re always happy to explain what products we’re using, where they’ll be applied, and any precautions that apply.

What pests does my GradShield Plan cover?

Coverage depends on plan level. Basic Care, included in every plan, covers wasps, hornets, carpenter ants, small ants, house crickets, outdoor spiders, centipedes, millipedes, ground beetles, and earwigs. Gold and Emerald add Extended Care for carpenter bees, silverfish, cockroaches, sow bugs, clothes moths, stink bugs, and pantry pests, plus mice and rats.

Why do I need a year-round plan instead of calling when I see a pest?

By the time you see pests inside your home, they may already have been active for some time. A year-round pest management plan focuses on prevention—identifying and addressing pest activity before it has a chance to become a bigger problem.

Pest pressures also change throughout the year. Ants and other insects may be more noticeable during warmer months, while mice and other pests often look for shelter as temperatures drop. Regular service allows us to adjust our approach as those conditions change.

Just as importantly, ongoing service gives your technician an opportunity to spot developing issues, identify conditions that may be attracting pests, and recommend steps you can take to help prevent future problems. The goal isn't simply to treat pests when they appear—it's to help keep them from becoming established in the first place.

How much does GradShield cost, and how is it billed?

GradShield pricing is based on your home and the level of pest protection you need, so the exact cost can vary. GradShield Silver starts at $30 per month, Gold at $40, and Emerald at $80. The Mosquito and Tick plan starts at $45 per month, standalone or is discounted when added to any plan. We’ll provide clear pricing before you enroll, so you’ll know exactly what your plan includes and what it will cost.

GradShield is a year-round pest protection plan, with services provided throughout the year to address changing seasonal pest pressures. For convenience, the annual cost is divided into manageable monthly payments rather than requiring you to pay for the entire year upfront.

Which GradShield Plan is right for my home?

The right GradShield Plan depends on your home, property, and the pests you want protection from.

GradShield Silver is a great choice if you're primarily looking for preventative protection on only your home from common household pests such as ants, spiders, centipedes, earwigs, and other seasonal invaders.

GradShield Gold provides broader protection and is a good fit for homeowners who also want protection from mice and rats, additional covered pests (such as carpenter bees, pantry, and fabric pests), an interior preventative service, and exterior termite monitoring. This is our most popular plan.

GradShield Emerald offers our most comprehensive protection. It includes everything in Gold, plus seasonal mosquito and tick reduction treatments for your property.

How often will a technician come to my home?

Silver and Gold include three preventative services per year, planned around the seasons when pests are most active. Emerald and Mosquito & Tick includes six services per year between April and October.

How does the warranty work?

GradShield is designed to provide ongoing protection—not just treatment on the day we visit. If you experience a problem with a pest covered by your plan between services, simply contact us and we'll return to address the issue at no additional charge.

Because pest activity can be affected by weather, conditions around your home, and other factors outside our control, no pest control program can guarantee that you'll never see a pest. Our warranty means that when a covered problem does occur, we'll be there to help resolve it.

Your warranty remains in effect as long as your GradShield plan is active and regular services are maintained.

What if I already have a pest problem?

No problem—you don't have to wait until your home is pest-free to start your GradShield Plan. In fact, many of our customers first call us because they're already dealing with a pest issue.

Because GradShield is designed for ongoing prevention, existing pest problems are addressed first with a one-time service. We'll inspect your home, identify the problem, and provide a treatment recommendation and quote. The inspection and estimate are free.

Once the existing problem is resolved, your GradShield Plan provides ongoing protection to help prevent it from coming back.

Do I need to be home?

Not usually. Most GradShield services focus on the exterior of your home, so you don't need to be home for your regular services. We'll let you know when your technician is coming and provide a service report after the visit so you know what was done.
